I paint large seascapes, landscapes, abstracts, draw with pen and ink, make driftwood pictures and accept commissions for paintings and murals.
I currently live in the Scottish Borders and went to Edinburgh College of Art. I lived close to Cheswick Beach, Northumberland from 2005-2010 and have became best known for my atmospheric seascapes, inspired by daily visits to the beach with my dogs.
"Seeing the sea everyday, it became omnipresent in my life. I now recognise it grabbed me rather than the other way around."
"I don't think I will ever tire of painting the sea with its different moods, colours and light reflected in the waves and sky. I work to create a painting with spirit and feeling. If someone comments that they feel they could get their toes wet in a picture then I am very pleased."
Now I have moved back home to The Scottish Borders I am thrilled to be painting the huge vistas and light on the hills and fields.
